Scythe and Titan ended up leading their respective groups, earning a slot in the best-of-five main event of The Inaugural. Group runner-ups RRQ and Execration will be joining them in the semifinals, which will start tomorrow at 20:00 SGT (14:00 CET).
Titan finished the group stage undefeated, ending up 6-0 in games after three best-of-three series. The match in the last day of the tournament incidentally broke the tie then held by thai team MiTH.Trust and Indonesian team Rex Regum Qeon, in which the latter won 2-0. Zephyr, the recent winner of the Korean Dota 2 League, is still yet to win a series against a Southeast-Asian team in an official match.
The second group was a toss-up though. While Scythe took the clear first place after winning all of their games, the other three teams shared an identical 1-2 standing. However, it is Execration that will be advancing because of their better map scores (four match wins in the group stage, while both Orange and MVP.Phoenix only have two apiece)
The top seeds of the group will face off against the runner-up of the opposite group. Starting the main event is the match-up of Scythe and RRQ scheduled tomorrow, 21 April, at 20:00 SGT (14:00 CET). Titan and Execration are the next pair, and they will compete at the same time the following day. All matches in the main event are best-of-five.
Only the top two teams will receive a cash prize - $2,000 for the Champion and $1,000 for the runner-up. More importantly, the winner of The Inaugural will compete in The Summit Asia.
The Summit Asia is the Asian qualifiers for The Summit. The Summit is BTS' first LAN event, scheduled for 5-8 June, and it will have at least a $50,000 prize pool. The two invited teams who have confirmed their attendance are Ukraine's Natus Vincere and China's team DK. Aside from The Summit Asia, there will also be an American and European qualifier.
