DreamLeague week six : Na'Vi and EG tied for fifth place

With their defeat against Alliance in the opening game of the week, Natus Vincere are tied with Evil Geniuses for the sixth position of the leaderboard. The third place now belongs to Team Dog, due to their victories against Team Liquid and Sigma.

Another week, another victory for Cloud9 in DreamLeague, with EternalEnVy's boys maintaining the first place of the leaderboard with a 10-1 gamescore. Team Empire is still behind C9 with a sole victory preventing them from reaching the top of the table. The top two places were unaffected for another week, but one cannot say the same about the rest of the rankings.

Despite their strong performance in best-of-three and best-of-five series, it seems that Natus Vincere and Evil Geniuses do not show the same consistency when it comes to best-of-ones. Both teams are tied for the fifth spot with a score of 6-4, with Na'Vi dropping their 'tie-breaker' game against Alliance that would help them secure the third position. On the other hand, Team Dog took down both Team Liquid and their buddies Sigma, snatching the third position from Alliance due to their head-to-head victory against the Swedes in DreamLeague. As for Liquid, RoX.KIS and Fnatic, they all need to start grabbing more victories if they hope to reach the top six in time to qualify for the playoffs.

Nine matches are scheduled for the following playweek of DreamLeague, with the first battle taking place on May 5th between Na'Vi and Team Dog (18:45 CEST). Fnatic will take on two consecutive opponents the same day, going against Sigma at 20:00 CEST and Alliance at 21:15 CEST. Fnatic, Alliance and RoX.KIS will be facing three teams next week, and they will all get the chance to gather some important points. With the end of the online stage approaching fast, this is the best time for the participants to prove their worth.
