BountyHunter KotH 3 : Team Dog dominant against Virtus.Pro

With a clean 3-0 victory against Virtus.Pro, Team Dog managed to claim the $1000 reward and the throne of Hitbox.tv Bounty Hunter series. This is the second first place tournament finish for the international squad Team Dog.

The third battle of Hitbox.tv BountyHunter - King of the Hill series took place today with Virtus.Pro taking on Team Dog for a best-of-five match. Virtus.Pro replaced Cloud9, the previous winner of the tourney, due to scheduling issues preventing Clou9's participation. Much like the previous versions of the cup, the winner of the match earns $1000.

With the German players Adrian 'FATA-' Trinks and Pascal 'paS-' Lohmeier standing in for Team Dog, the international squad held complete control of the match, claiming three comfortable victories. Despite their recent encouraging results, Virtus.Pro seems unable to escape their slump, with continuous bad results that may even affect their participation in the upcoming iteration of The International.

Team Dog is the newest champion of the Hitbox.tv BountyHunter series, and they will attempt to defend their throne next month against yet another challenger. Live broadcasting of the games will be provided on hitbox.tv by Sheever in English, Taodota in Spanish, Blacklight and Xen in German, mob5ter in Russian and RoshanTV in Chinese.
