Chibix, previously from First Departure, enters Scythe.SG to replace Scripted. This is reportedly Scythe's 'final' roster change at least for the near future.
After the team was announced around six weeks ago, Scythe.SG has come across another roster change. The first of the reported ones was Benedict 'hyhy' Lim not being a part of the team, and second is the trade of Kok Sin 'KS' Ang to First Departure's Paul 'hana' Tandiono.
Now, another change has happened as First Depature's Joel 'Chibix33' Tan is joining the team to replace Jonathan 'Scipted' Lee. Already looking very much like First Departure from before when they were first announced, Scythe.SG now appears to be the old FD more than ever as they only have one person on the roster who was not from Singapore's representative on GMPGL SEA and the AsianCyberGames.
While Chibix was seen playing as the carry for his previous team, he will shift to the jungle/utility player on this team as the farmer spot is already held by Galvin 'Meracle' Kang. Chibix has been playing with Scythe since ACG: SEA Best of the best invitational last week, and had tallied wins against SEA teams like Orange and RRQ since. Scythe has also lost three games since, all of which are against arguably if not evidently stronger oppositions in Titan, Invictus Gaming and NewBee.
With the improvement of Scythe (at least on paper), taking a hit is the fellow Singaporean team on which most of the members are from. The last member of the original First Departure line-up Chan 'Lubby' Jun Jie, team captain, is uncertain about the team's future. First Departure has been seen playing with multiple stand-ins in their recent tournaments.
