iG released the following statement on QQ: 'Hao left the team. ChuaN returned. Banana is becoming the backup, and Luo is "lended" to the team.'
Thus, Banana will be iG's 6th-man. Whether Luo will be a permanent member of the team is still undisclosed.
The previous reports about Wong 'ChuaN' Hock Chuan and ex-Rattlesnake team captain Luo 'Luo' Yinqi are confimed to be true. Rounding up the team are veteran iG players Faith, YYF and Ferrari_430.
Luo lead his previous team, Rattlesnake.CN, into a qualification into The International 2013 after winning the wildcards. ChuaN, on the other hand, has been on missing in action since iG's disappointing 5th/6th on that same tournament. Luo also confirmed to us that a circulating interview supposedly made with him is fake.
After Chuan's exit and Zhou's player transfer last September 2013, iG has bounced back by acquiring Zhi 'Hao' Chen and Jiao 'banana' Wang. The TI2 Champion performed consistently strong, placing on podum finishes on almost all tournaments they take part in including titles on the first season of Sina Cup and the Red Bull eSports Champions League.
With this news, the exit of banana and Hao on iG's main team has also been confirmed. The two are rumored to be part of a new Chinese team, alongside Jian 'ZSMJ' Gong, Pan 'Mu' Zhang and ex-LGD captain Ning 'Xiao8' Zhang.
