Efeng resigns as CEO of iG

Yuan 'Efeng' Liu, CEO of Invictus Gaming, issued a statement late last night announcing that he has officially left the club. In the blog that accompanied the statement, Liu did not specifically state his reason for departure but called his two years stint with iG the most important career step in his life despite the decline in 2013.

The resignation is allegedly due to several undertable deals he has done with various parties over the past couple of months. While this is unconfirmed, our source told us his rumoured mistakes are the reasons he is forced to resign his position

Liu also recently resigned his role as the Events Director in ACE Alliance last month because he is not comfortable in facing the possible taunts he will be receiving in the future. "If you want to label me as incompetent that’s fine, or say I’m running away that’s okay too, my only hope is to help iG operate steadily and stably onwards from now," Liu's determination after leaving ACE.

With Liu leaving and the highly rumoured departure of Hong Da 'Faith' Zeng and Zhi Hao 'Hao' Chen, Invictus Gaming is now in shambles and many speculate that the organization will cease to exist. Invictus Gaming's current COO, VintageKuma told us otherwise, "We will continue to operate as usual."
