More D2L issues with Fnatic as H4nn1 is stuck in Germany

Unfortunately, Fnatic are struck by more unfortunate events as their mid player H4nn1 will have to skip the D2L playoffs due to a delayed flight. Filling in for him will be Aui_2000. Earlier in the day, it was reported that Era will be replaced by DeMoN for the event.

More bad luck is casted upon Fnatic regarding their D2L playoffs attendance. Earlier today, it was reported that Adrian 'Era' Kryezuy sits the event out due to health issues. Filling in for him will be Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho. Unfortunately, this was not the only setback for the team as their mid player Kai 'H4nn1' Hanbückers is stuck in Germany after his flight to the States got delayed. He will not be able to make it in time for the event, instead Kurtis 'Aui_2000' Ling will be the team's fifth player. Read more about what went down with H4nn1 at his facebook.

Aui is normally playing the fourth position in Speed Gaming, much similar to the heroes N0tail already play in Fnatic. Since Fnatic now is without their regular carry and mid players, a possible solution is DeMoN taking the mid role and Aui_2000 going back into the carry role he was playing for Team Dignitas during the first half of 2013. Another option would be N0tail playing mid, a position he has been flirting with occasionally in 2013, and Aui_2000 playing his now regular support role. Arguably, the setbacks have weakened Fnatic a lot as they are a team with great synergy and teamplay and a team who have been playing together for years and are rarely seen using a stand-in, even in online tournaments. It remains to be seen what they make of the limited time prior to the event, but with Aui and DeMoN completing the line-up, one would at least need to acknowledge that the team is unpredictable. Earlier research and encounters other teams may have had with Fnatic will no longer be as viable.

Fnatic's roster for the D2L playoffs

Israel Tal 'Fly' Aizik
Denmark Johan 'N0tail' Sundstein
Finland Kalle 'Trixi' Saarinen
United States Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho (stand-in)
Canada Kurtis 'Aui_2000' Ling (stand-in)

Hopefully, these were the last problems to occur for the event after all the tumult lately with D2L, such as the misunderstanding with LGD and now the issues with players of Fnatic. The Dota 2 League playoffs starts tomorrow 21.00 CET with Alliance versus Vici Gaming, the event lasts two days and carries a prize pool of $50,000 USD.
