Following the disbandment of fOu, William 'Blitz' Lee forms an unlikely team to compete in the Nexon Sponsorship League 3.
Just a week ago, fOu announced the disbandment of their Korean squad leaving North American player, William 'Blitz' Lee without a team and all alone in Korea. Amidst rumours of him getting picked up by another Korean team, close friend and YouTube personality Kevin 'Purge' Godec released a video announcing the formation of Team Zephyr.
The team is made up mostly of close friends with Steven "Eosin" Cheng and Corey "Corey" Wright playing the Hard Support role and Carry role respectively. Also, in what seems like a revival of his professional career, Alaan "SexyBamboe" Faraj will be finishing up the lineup as the team's offlane player.
The team is currently living in a gaming house in Seoul, South Korea and just an hour away from the venue. The qualifiers for season 3 of the Nexon Sponsorship League will be held tomorrow with the main event taking place on January 11th. First place winners of the tournament will get a total of 60 million won ($56880 USD).
