Black confirms LGD.Int demise; most likely heading to Korea

While the vast majority of the population was celebrating Boxing Day, Dominik 'Black' Reitmeier, one of the two remaining players of LGD International, tweeted that his team is "dead".

Reitmeier joined LGD.Int after he was invited to the team following Mousesports, his former team, and LGD.Int's early exit in The International 3. The team had communication problems right from the start and the team once again performed weak in WPC-ACE League and D2L qualifiers. 6.79 breathe a small sign of life for the team but Per 'Pajkatt' Olsson Lille visa issues and Rasmus 'Misery' Filipsen's return to Denmark before LGD.Int's WPC-ACE League playoffs match indicated that the two European stars have given up on the team. LGD.Int played against Vici Gaming with Yu Xiao 'Air' Yin and Peng 'Super' Su which quickly led to their demise

Although not made public, our sources who work closely with the team told us that there were huge internal problems which led to the eventual downfall of LGD.Int. Our source told us Reitmeier dislike staying with Olsson and Filipsen because of the constant arguments they would have outside and inside the game.

After the departure of Olsson and Filipsen, Reitmeier poked his head around the Chinese scene but realized that there were no place for him, especially when everybody do not speak English. We talked to Reitmeier a week ago and he told us he had plans to move to Korea if he could find a team that is suitable for him. During our dialogue, Reitmeier seemed pretty determined to not return to Europe because he strongly believes Korean Dota is going to be the best in a year or two. "Their professional environment has proven many times before - in LoL and Starcraft 2 - that it is simply the best," said Reitmeier.

Besides Korea, Reitmeier also contemplated on retiring but from recent progression, he has most likely scrapped the idea. We are in the midst of contacting Korean teams to see if anyone has or are interested in picking up Reitmeier. Among competitive players, Reitmeier averaged 531 gold per minute and is placed 11th in the category in 2013. He also averaged 240.8 last hits per game, third in category among competitive players.
