MLG Columbus' prize pool has just hit $120,000 through DotaTV ticket sales. The first placer of the tournament will be walking away with 50% of the total prize pool.
After Major League Gaming announced that their earnings from MLG Columbus DotaTV tickets will be added to the prize pool, thousands of members from the community, 28,000 to be exact, have purchased the MLG Columbus bundle and raised $70,000 to be added on top of the original $50,000 put out by the organizers, making it $120,000.

Each ticket costs $9.99 in which $2.50 will be added to the prize pool. Each ticket includes an exclusive bundle featuring a unique Scalehound Courier, a Stronghold HUD Skin, a Tethered Sentinel Ward and finally, Battlepoint Bonus during MLG Columbus. You can still contribute to the prizepool and get yourself an amazing bundle by purchasing the in-game ticket, you can find them at the official Dota 2 store at $9.99.
The prize pool is expected to continue increasing during the event.
MLG Columbus is set to begin on the 22nd of November at Greater Columbus Conventional Center in Columbus, Ohio, USA. The tournament will run for 3 days and will feature top tier teams from Europe and North America. In addition to that, Chinese team DK has also been invited to participate in the tournament.
