G-League groupstage schedule and prize distribution details

GameFy has released the schedule and prize distribution for their upcoming G-League event. Unfortunately, the tournament will still be clashing with D2L despite schedule changes.

Despite the schedule clash with D2L in January, GameFy has decided not to change their schedule, even after they changed the schedule slightly earlier today. The worldwide qualifier (bracket below) will begin on the 11th of November and it will run until the 12th to decide the two teams going on an all-expenses paid trip to China for the main event.

Qualified teams will be required to stay in China for two weeks to compete in the offline groupstage alongside eight Chinese teams, who will qualify via the Chinese qualifier. The brackets for the Chinese qualifiers are available here. Invictus Gaming and LGD International have received auto-qualification to G-League for finishing first and second last season.

Schedule:

11-12 November - Worldwide qualifier
9-19 December - G-League Groupstage LAN
1 January - G-League semi-finals
11-12 January - G-League grand final

G-League 2013 will feature 270,000 RMB (~$44,000) in cash prize. Prize distribution is as below:

1. 200,000 RMB (~$33,000)
2. 50,000 RMB (~$8,200)
3-4. 10,000 RMB (~$1,600)
