The sixth cup of The Premier League Season 5, also known as Daedalus Cup, ended earlier today with Fnatic clinching the victory from Virtus.Pro. With the win Fnatic is able to secure a spot in the playoffs.
Fnatic, who was placed fifth since the Mjolnir cup, snatched the coveted 100 points from Virtus.Pro in a short best of three match and won the sixth cup of the The Premier League 5 aka Daedalus Cup hence securing themselves a spot in the playoffs by narrowly beating Virtus.Pro in the standings by 30 points.
Looking at the current standings, Alliance still tops the group with 350 points despite missing two cups out of the total six cups played. On the other hand, Fnatic, having won the Daedalus Cup, have been able to secure themsevles a spot in the playoffs by beating Virtus.Pro earlier today. With the win, Fnatic currently hold third place with 180 points with Mouseports while Virtus.Pro is in fifth place with 150 points. Evil Geniuses, having finished third in the cup, stays in second place with 220 points.
The top four squads at the end of the seventh cup will move on to The Premier League 5 playoffs.
