Alliance is on a killing spree after going undefeated in the Mjolnir Cup, clinching their third consecutive cup win in The Premier League 5. The Swedes have secured their spot for the playoffs with only two remaining cups to play.
Alliance was able to clinch their third consecutive win in The Premier League 5's fifth cup, termed the Mjolnir Cup, after defeating second placer Mousesports in a nail-biting final game. With the win secured, Alliance has secured their spot for the playoffs and will only have to keep it up to hold on to their number one seed.
Looking at the standings, Alliance is still on the top of the charts with 350 points despite missing the first cup due to their trip to China. Evil Geniuses and Mousesports on the other hand, are at second place with only 10 points differential while Virtus.Pro maintained their fourth spot although they crashed out of the Mjollnir Cup in the first round today.
Fnatic also improved their placing to fifth after finishing strong against the former fifth placer Quantic Gaming in the third and fourth placer match.
The top four squads at the end of the seventh cup will move onto the playoffs of The Premier League 5.
