Only four teams left in Neolution Gosucup Asia June

Zenith, Rising Stars, Mineski, and Dreamz are the only four teams left in Neolution Gosucup Asia June after day one. The four remaining teams will compete against each other in a double elimination format tomorrow at 14:00 CEST.

Day one of Neolution Gosucup Asia June is over and from the 236 teams who signed up and checked in for the tournament, only four is left with no real upsets in between. All four of the highest seeded teams in this edition of Gosucup has made it through without much of a hassle.

Zenith, the winner of the fifth Gosucup Asia, had a relatively easy path throughout the tournament before facing Thai team Awake in the round of eight. The Singaporeans did not back out from the challenge and showed Awake why they are deserving of the invite to The International 3 later this year.

Mineski, Zenith's next opponent forfeited their RGN League game against Rising Stars, to compete in the Gosucup. Their dedication to the tournament has led them to great success, defeating Indian team Elunes in the round of 16 and against all odds, First Departure in the round of 8.

Chinese team Rising Stars have also made it to the round of eight and will be facing Dreamz. It is rather surprising to see Dreamz made it this far into the tournament due to their roster troubles as of late, losing their captain Patrick 'JyC' Pascua and Julius 'Julz' Deleon. Both teams have not met each other in an official match prior to the meeting.

From here on out, the four remaining teams will compete in a double elimination format, beginning at 10:00 CEST tomorrow. Matches tomorrow will be casted by Sheever, Skim and KOKOstern.
