LGD.cn have defeated Zenith 2-1 to earn their place in the G-1 League finals. Zenith will drop to the lower bracket where they will have to beat the winner of DK and LGD.int to progress to the finals.
Just moments ago, the Chinese LGD squad took down Zenith in three games securing themselves a spot in the offline finals of the G-1 Champions League. Zenith on the other hand, will have to face the winner of DK versus LGD.Int the day after for another shot at the offline spot. The game between DK and LGD.Int will take place tomorrow at 13:30 CEST.
LGD.cn will be the third to qualify for the G-1 offline event, joining Group A and Group B first placers, NeoES.Orange and Invictus Gaming.

The first game in the series quickly looked to be going the way of LGD.cn. With Lone Druid dominating the mid lane and managing to pick up 70 CS by 10 minutes, Clockwerk getting more than he should have against a Gyrocopter and the Trilane being narrowly won, LGD held an advantage they looked to carry through to the mid game.
They pressed this advantage further by taking first blood at 10 minutes in a team fight on the top lane, in which they killed 3 heroes and took no losses. They proceeded to start pushing towers and took down most Zenith outer-towers with little resistance. At this point, it appeared that LGD.cn were firmly ahead and it would take some amazing plays from Zenith to claw their way back into the game.
The first of these amazing plays happened at 16 minutes, with Puck blinking in on LGD.cn and getting a five man silence and Dream Coil. This led to a near team-wipe for few losses. LGD.cn were still significantly ahead however and were able to take Roshan with no resistance. However, Zenith's excellent initiation and coordination led to them taking another teamight at 20 minutes. It appeared that however far ahead LGD.cn were, Zenith were capable of pulling amazing performances out of the bag. The trend continued, with Zenith taking team fight after team fight till eventually the LGD.cn advantage had completely dissipated. While Lone Druid was monstrously fat, Gyrocopter had managed to pick up even more farm and appeared unkillable.
Zenith took one final teamfight at 36 minutes to complete their amazing turn around and forced out a GG.
Both teams picked very greedy line-ups. With Zenith running an off-lane druid, Storm Mid, a jungle Juggernaut, and Mirana Nyx safe-lane. LGD meanwhile ran an off-lane Lifestealer, a mid Brewmaster and a Phantom Lancer, Shadow Shaman and Keeper of the Light safe lane. The game quickly moved in favour of LGD, as they took first blood in a 5v5 engagement in the bottom lane. However, with both teams requiring large amounts of farm the game quickly settled down into a more stable laning phase than this early engagement suggested.
Zenith struggled somewhat in the early game, with Lone Druid managing to pick up next to no farm and Storm dying to Brewmaster in the middle lane. Zenith therefore, yet again, transition into the mid game significantly behind their opponents. They attempted to gank the bottom lane and manage to kill Shadow Shaman but lost Lone Druid to Phantom Lancer making the attempt something of a disaster. With Phantom Lancer picking up a Radiance fairly early the game is looking even futher out of Zenith's grasp.
LGD managed to press their advantage this game, and took the barracks and the game at 22 minutes. An impressive performance to bounce back from the first game.
LGD.cn left the game before Zenith did. So it is actually Radiant victory.
Both teams rB uncontested trilanes, with LGD farming up an Anti-Mage and Zenith a Luna. Dark seer and Beastmaster both spenT most of their time in the jungle, which heavily favours Dark Seer. LGD take first blood bottom, when Dark Seer showed up in the lane. Dark Seer died a few more times trying to mess up Anti-Mage's creep equilibrium. Meanwhile, Zenith took the tier one tower in the top lane.
LGD.cn had a very strong early game, picking up kills across the map and making few mistakes. They were 5-0 ahead by 14 minutes with a battlefury on Sylar's Anti-Mage. Zenith took their first teamfight at 21 minutes, bringing down four LGD.cn heroes for no losses. Once again they seemed to be clawing their way back in, with further pick-offs and a tower in the midlane leading to a Roshan, but they have a long way to go.
While Zenith's gains were significant, Anti-Mage has been left the ability to farm and became very difficult to deal with. This is exemplified during a fight in the Dire jungle where Anti-Mage picked up a ultra-kill and forced buybacks on core Zenith's carries for few losses. LGD.cn took another team fight at 30 minutes and killed off Roshan and were once again looking firmly ahead. However, with both the Dragon Knight and Luna gathering healthy farm the game was far from over.
Both teams traded barracks at 36 minutes but it was the overly farmed Anti-Mage who came up on top. Luna teleported back to defend but it was too late. Zenith lost both their top and middle barracks in the skirmish. Zenith went for a daring raid into the LGD.cn base, but a glorious disruption disrupted their plans and the untouched Anti-Mage went to work. LGD pushed to kill the final barracks to take the game.
