Third Bigpoint Battle announced

The third Bigpoint Battle has been announced and is due to take place from next Thursday the 11th of April. The tournament features a €2,000 prize-pool and should attract some of the biggest teams from across the world. However sign ups are open to everybody with up to 512 teams competing.

Prize money for the event stands at 2,000 Euros with €1,500 going to first place and €500 going to second. With this hefty prize pool we can expect some of the biggest teams to enter the competition. The first Bigpoint Battle was won by Team Liquid who fell to Na'VI in the final of the second. The eight teams invited to compete are yet to be announced.

Any teams can register to compete in the tournament. Signs ups are taken here. The tournament is initially capped at 256 teams, but should more enter it will be extended to 512.

Qualifying rounds begin on Thursday the 11th of April and continue to the Friday. The main rounds, featuring the biggest teams will begin on Saturday and conclude on the Sunday.
