fnatic.na to rebuild team around Smurf

After a drama in which former fnatic.na player DurpDurp posted screenshots of conversations with his manager, fnatic now officially announces that they are parting ways with four players and are looking forward to rebuild a team around Smurf.

Former fnatic.na player DurpDurp released screenshots of a conversation between him and his manager, voicing his displeasure about how things were handled.

As a response, fnatic released a statement in which they officially announce parting ways with four players. Two of which left on their own, namely Rolo and Tabako, with Whitebeard and DurpDurp being dropped.

Fnatic.na started 3 months ago when team Josh Tobak, named after their player, got picked up by the sponsor. They have played in many smaller tournaments and qualifications, most significantly The Defense 3 and NEODota's Killing Spree tournament. Being unable to perform to the sponsor's expectations, the team will now undergo changes.

Statement by fnatic's NA Dota 2 team manager Elroy Pinto:

"[...]
As a professional organisation we need to make sure we ensure a certain level was maintained. Certain tough decisions had to be taken and we believe in Smurf as he shares the ideals of fnatic, we're glad to work with him in the future. We will definitely rebuild our team and continue with NA dota in fnatic. A special thanks to everyone who has been supportive of fnatic, we really believe there's a good talent pool in the NA scene that needs the exposure that Fnatic can provide. Few organisations want to invest into small teams and it's important that someone does"
