DK falls to Na`Vi in Winner's Bracket

It was a year since Na`Vi met DK on LAN and what a spectacle it was when the two teams faced each other in the best of three round one Winner's Bracket match. In a stunning showcase of grit and talent, Na`Vi have sent the first Chinese team of the day to the Loser's Bracket.

Na`Vi set the tempo of the game right from the get go scoring early kills at top lane where DK's triple lane of Luna, Venomancer and Chen were pressed hard. Burning was unable to get any farm at all, with only 30 cs at 15 minutes while XBOCT's Anti Mage enjoyed free farm.

Most of us saw the end of the game early on with the Ukrainian powerhouse going across the map taking towers and forcing fights which could only go in their favor. At 17 minutes, Na`Vi had a 12k gold lead and at a mere 25 minutes, the Chinese team had no choice but to forfeit the game.

Game two showed signs of live from DK - they were able to amass better farm with a cs advantage in the early game and the goal to take down towers instead of forcing fights early on. Puck and Sand King's Blink Dagger gave Na`Vi a surprise element in fights and DK opted to get items on Morphling insetad.

At 31 minutes, DK went into Na`Vi's middle barracks and was able to claim it with an Aegis on Morphling. They then went back to waiting for the next Roshan before trying for top barracks. Despite Blink Daggers and Black King Bars on Enigma and Sand King, a messy fight for Na`Vi gave DK the second game and one more chance to fight back to a win.

DK got an early start in the third game with early kills but Na`Vi carried on with Lycanthrope and Anti Mage getting the right farm. DK soon realized that they had to transition into an aggressive 5-man push with Naga Siren's illusions and Dazzle's Shadow Wave leading the team.

Na`Vi, however, were able to survive the fights brought by DK with tankability afforded by Lycanthrope and Beastmaster. The Ukrainian powerhouse found themselves confident to push into mid barracks after claiming a second Roshan at 25 minutes. After a series of teamfights, middle barracks fell for DK and they found it futile to carry on.
