The first ever public Dota 2 LAN competition has drawn to a close. With many local teams including the likes of Mineski in the participants list, a local team Duskbin managed to emerge victorious.

MANILA, PHILIPPINES- In a packed MI Taft, Duskbin proved themselves worthy of the crown, dropping not a single match on their way to the title. Their roster, which includes former HoN players who topped The Games Xpo (TGX) HoN in Singapore a few months back, overcame the opponents with slick play.

The Evolution
#TeamPrizes
Philippines Duskbin$350 + 5 Razer Naga Hex + Razer Products
Philippines Pag-ibig$230 + 5 Razer Naga Hex
Philippines Sexty 9$150 + Razer Products

With over 70 teams participating in the event, interest in Dota 2 in the Philippines is certainly not lacking. One would look forward to more such events happening in the future.

MI.Pcolor participated in this event, they had 2 other teams in their bracket with a 3-1 standing so the marshalls have to do a "time rating rule" and Mineski got eliminated because they had the longest playing time of the 3 teams that were tied.

#7 IMO the time rating rule is applied because Mineski is also participating in GEST. Making play-offs will disturb their GEST match schedules. Although I have to agree time rating rule sucks, and when there is time, tie-breaks should always be done
