Luo standing-in for EG at SMM
Few days back news broke of EG's SMM standin Yin Qi "xiaoluo" Luo joining up with the boys from World Elite DotA (see). The move is now official, and xiaoLuo will now play under the tag of WE.i-Rocks.Luo, Team WE conducted an interview with him shortly after his move.
Firstly congratulations on joining Team WE e-Sports club, can you tell us briefly how you joined WE?
-"After Crystal left, team leader Tony and manager KinG discussed with the team members and came to the conclusion that I could be the fifth player in the team. As I was team-less at that time, I decided to take up their offer."
What did you do in the period of time after leaving Nirvana.cn?
-"After I left Nv.cn EG invited me to play in SMM as well as G-League with them"
Did you scrim with your current teammates?
-"No, only when the WE players were on vacation did I play some pubs with them on Platform 11"
You were one of the earliest members of WE.DotA, back when they were just formed. Besides old team mate WE.Chan, are you familiar with your other team members?
-"We are all good friends. Before I became a professional player I played a lot of pubs with icy, and we even played together in a tournament back in 2009. Fnty is a very dedicated player, I hear from the mamangement at WE that when he just joined he even took notes during ban/pick phases. Mofi plays a sick Windrunner, he told everyone that he wants to be the best WR in the world."
After Sylar left the number 1 position has become a stumbling block for the team. Will you be taking over that spot, or will you continue the role you played for Nv.cn?
-"Fnty, Chan and icy all can play the carry position, so for me I think I will be playing more of a support role."
Will you be taking over the Ban/Pick phase as well as team fight commands?
-"I think that will be the case."
What are your goals for WE.DotA for the new year?
-"Everyone work together for the championship!"
