Representatives from Natural 9 and AL informed joinDOTA that their parties will make common cause in 2012. The currently second-ranked Australians will appear as the official Dota 2 team of the until now solely LoL-based organization.
It was only a matter of time until the performances of the team from Down Under would come to a suited employer's attention. Natural 9 were one of the first teams to join the Dota 2 beta and have since then been on a global victory march. After starting to build a solid reputation in GosuGamers' Asian King of the Hill matches, the Australians moved on to later emerging western tournaments and showed that they can keep up with the powerhouses of Europe.
Recent performances allowed N9 to advance to the second group stage of The Defense as well as the final four of The Brawl. Next to their name does further stand a first place at the BenQ's The Clash #2.
Natural 9's prospective employer Absolute Legends comes with no previous endeavours in DotA, yet gained attention for their League of Legends team, which frequently participates in ESL's weekly GO4LOL events.
If the issued statements can be trusted AL will soon be seen on LANs all over the world as team captain David 'R1sk' Arnous jubilates: "Together with AL we can finally achieve our dream of travelling to the major offline events across the globe and showcase to the world what we’re truly capable of, on top of continuing our strong form online"
"I will help them in whatever they need to reach the goals they want to achieve" comments Absolute Legends CEO Tim Buysse on the successful addition. The full statements can be read by following the link below.
