Kunshan, China to host back-to-back WCG grand finals

NeoTV CEO Lin Yu-hsin revealed on his micro blog that Kunshan, China has been chosen as the host city for the World Cyber Games grand finals for both 2012 and 2013.

"WCG World Finals will finally re-settle in China, six months hard work not in vain," said Lin Yu-hsin.

Following the success of WCG 2009 held in Chengdu, China will once again feature one of the most long-running grand scaled eSport tournaments. Host city Kunshan has close to one and a half million in population and is located close to Shanghai.

With China's immense popularity of WarCraft 3, DotA and StarCraft 2 the two coming years of World Cyber Games a true folk fest.

This year's WCG season will be closed off with a grand final on December 8 in Busan, South Korea.
