It took no greater effort for Astralis to let Torpedo crumble underneath them. Now they have advanced to the semi finals tomorrow and are going to face the winner of EnVyUs/NRG.
As the analysts had pointed out before, it was a no-brainer to see the Danes advance over Torpedo in these quarter finals. On Cache, Astralis looked towards a 13-2 half with especially René "cajunb" Borg chiming in to get a stellar 2.0 KDR. Another two rounds were acquired until Torpedo had to admit that they were simply outgunned and outclassed in every aspect.
Astralis were even able to win the second map, Dust2, with a 16-2 score board, definitely proving Torpedo to be the inferior contender. Being honest, this tournament win was never within their reach but they surely have salvaged some important experiences to further advance in their individual skill level and general synergy as a team.
