All top eight qualifiers will travel to Katowice to compete in the $10,000 Blizzard-sanctioned major on March 5th.
Following an exhaustive set of online EU and North American qualifiers, the final line-up of competitors for the 3rd ESL Hearthstone Legendary Series has been confirmed. The roster not only bears a global set of representatives from Spain, France, Russia, Bulgaria, Canada and Costa Rica, but with the exception of Esteban “AKAWonder” Serrano Bozada, most of the qualifiers lie outside of the top-ranked player list, which should hopefully lead to some exciting bouts and the emergence of some big future names in the game.
The configuration for this tourney will combine a best of 5 format with a four hero, one ban conquest rule; where each player takes a quartet of heroes to the table, with the opportunity to ban one of the classes the other player brought. An official tournament of the Hearthstone Championship Tour, the victor of this competition will not only take home an impressive title and $5,000 prize money, but also 15 points essential in qualifying for the Hearthstone World Championship later this year.
The full player list is as follows:
espumito
Elscouta

Following last minute rescheduling, the Hearthstone Legendary Series final will take place on March 5th at the International Congress Cente Katowice, running alongside the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship.
You can watch the action from 12:00 CET as its streamed live over the ESL Hearthstone Twitch channel.
