Empire part ways with Brat_OK citing unsatisfactory results

Effective today, Russian-based Empire is two men short as they release Pavel "Brat_OK" Kuznecov and accept Anton "Aristeo" Vasilyev's retirement.

"It's not a secret that main reason of parting with Brat_OK is his unsatisfactory results. IEM Shanghai, ASUS ROG, WCS qualifications became the last straw," writes team manager Aleksandr "Stranger" Solomonov in the official announcement about Kuznecov's release. Brat_OK departs from the Russian organization after an year-long stint, during which his achievements were mostly high finishes in online regular cups and one top thirty-two finish at DreamHack Summer.

"In the near future [Brat_OK] will face a difficult period. Brat_OK, first of all, should decide, where he is going, whether he is staying in e-Sport or not," further says Solomonov.

Brat_OK is not the only person to depart from Empire as Anton "Aristeo" Vasilyev announces retirement from the StarCraft 2 scene. Aristeo has been among the founding member of Empire's SC2 division and his biggest achievement dates back to his 2012 WCS Russia top four finish.

With the two departures in effect, Empire are down to but three players: the Terran duo of Kas and Happy and Protoss loner Siw.
