PGL Wallachia Season 1 is about to kick off with 16 teams competing for the lion's share of the $1 Million prize pool. Here's all the details you need to know.
PGL Wallachia Season 1 is the first event planned in a three-year plan from PGL that includes eight Dota 2 tournaments -- each with one million dollars on the line to be held across 2024, 2025, and 2026.
Season 1 is scheduled at the PGL Studios in Bucharest, Romania, from May 10th to 19th, 2024.
The action will kick off with eight best-of-three series for Round 1 of the modified Group Stage.

PGL Wallachia Season 1 Format
PGL will be hosting the whole event at their studios in Bucharest, Romania, from May 10 to 16th with no live audience. The 16 teams will start the competition in a modified "Swiss System" group stage that will feature five rounds of best-of-three series.
