The World Cyber Games 2006 finals are soon to be played in Monza, Italy. The most recent update with information have been made, and not only did it show the maps for the event, it also showed us the schedule for the group play.
Next thursday, the 19th of October, this years World Cyber Games will have its opening. The groups for the StarCraft: Brood War tournament are done and now finally the schedule for the first part of the tournament, the group play, have been made official.
The groups are devided into two and the first day it's the A, B, C and D groups who will play. The first matches till be played at 12:00 PM the 19th. Group E, F, G and H will be playing on friday the 20th starting 12:00 PM. Here are the first matches:

How will this end? Every year they say "this year it'll be a none-korean who wins WCG" but it never happens. With IloveOov, Julyzerg and midas[gm] it seams to be very hard for the rest of the players to win even this year, but who knows? However it ends Gosugamers will be there giving you coverage from day one!
