[s]event_166[/s]

After a long season, Mondragon stands as the winner of EuroCup XIII, by defeating Draco 3-0 in the finals.

A dream final - Poland MYM.Draco against Germany ToT)Mondragon(. It was set up to be a great match, the Polish Protoss against the German Zerg. GosuBet tells us that Mondragon was the underdog by getting 41% of the bets; most people believed in Draco. Even Mondragon.
- I did not expect me to win due to my inactivity and due to Draco's better practise in Korea, tells GosuGamers right after the match.

I felt like I had to change my style a bit since he is superior anyway, especially since he is in Korea

Played only a couple of hours ago, Mondragon took down Draco in three games, winning with an overwhelming 3-0 score. First game was played on Luna in a match where Mondragon changed his style to adapt better to Draco.
- I felt like I had to change my style a bit since he is superior anyway, especially since he is in Korea, says Mondragon. The other two games were played on Rush Hour, where Mondragon stood as the victor as well.
- In the second and third game it was Mondi's macro again, he says and means that he more played his own style instead of adapting to Draco.

Do you consider Draco as your biggest threat when it comes to the best non-Korean player?
- Yeah, Draco, Sen and Testie are my biggest threats. Draco is probably my biggest problem since he used to beat me more than I beat him, Mondragon reveals. He further explains that the toughest games he played in EuroCup were the Zerg mirror matches against his clanmate Poland ToT)Hullah(.

17,000 € - if you only count the cash prize

By winning ClanBase EuroCup XIII Mondragont takes home yet another online cash prize win, where the first prize gave him 600 €. As a total, Mondragon has won around 17,000 € in his career so far, only counting the cash and not the hardware and other items. GosuGamers asked if he was thinking of spending the newly won money in any way:
- The money will go to my bank account like the previous ones too, he answers.

About WCG: "My chances are not that good."

World Cyber Games is only a few months away, and the German qualifier is a tough one, according to Mondragon. We asked him about his chances, and he answered not too confidently.
- I think they are not that good. Germany has got a lot of good players and everyone can beat me, tho I could beat them all too. Players like Selector, Fisheye and Schniblor are probably the toughest challenge.

The question people always ask - will you ever try your luck in South Korea? Seeing as how you defeated Draco who is in Korea trying to make a career there.
- I do not have any intention to try it myself at the moment. I'll start my community service at September and afterwards I am probably going to study, except if some progaming team is gonna invite me?! Well, I really don't know if I'd accept the invitation then, he says and smirks.

Last but not least Mondragon liked to say thank you to Ozmita for being a great administrator for this EuroCup season.
- The organisation by Ozmita was great and hereby I wanna thank him for it. Good Job Mr. Martinez!
