Three years ago there was a team brewing, this team now called FanatiC Gaming, used to be a West, mainly Korean based team. Infernal Gamers, first led not by its current leader but others who some may still know. But sadly its glory days are slowing and coming to end.

Infernal Gamers was a West based team. But eventually 
iG.BinGBonG took over the reigns and reformed the entire team. Starting off with mainly Koreans, all of which are now "retired," Infernal Gamers started to take off in the Western scene. But not soon after Team Extreme died and Infernal Gamers took a lot of its ex-members in, the European team got up on its feet.Infernal Gamers has been through rough, tough, and also extremly good times. But sometimes people lose their will to do what they used to love so much, and thats when they have to let go, even if its hard. fanatiC.BinGBonG made his desicion to step down as the team leader and let the team be disbanded. Most of the current FanatiC Gaming members may go to
Sons of Law or somewhere else, while others may not find a new home. But as of right now things are uncertain.I had a chance to do a quick, off the top of my head interview with FanatiC.BinGBonG. When I say off the top of my head, the interview kind of just happened. He was telling me about him leaving Brood War and FanatiC Gaming disbanding, and I ended up asking this great leader a few questions.

Name, age, race, and when did you start playing Brood War?
My name is Bennie aka iG.BinGBonG. My race is Protoss. I'm 21 now and I started Brood War when I was 12 or 13.
Why did you start Brood War?
Hehe, good old days. iG.Gwolla gave me a StarCraft CD and we played a lot of games on LAN, especially Big Game Hunters.
How did Infernal Gamers start up at first? Was it named differently before iG?
No it always was iG. I actually joined and became West leader but then it was still a newb clan. Leaders where Shun and SGRAVO. Later I toke over and rebuilt the whole clan, with Bundy, KimWanChul, CatZ, and NaranjitO, and Fever. The best admin I ever had. He also made the website of Infernal Gamers!
Did you believe that Infernal Gamers would become as big as it is today? With a sponsor and all its accomplishments as a team and individually?
No not in Europe. When I started it up KimWanChul was still a Progamer, one of best zergs in Europe. Also Ogogo, V-Gundam, and SaSin)Best-t- joined. Byul_NamoO, Gyul_NamoO, Fatastic_NamoO, and GentleMan joined in that time, so I considered more as a Korean team really in start. But later when (TE) died and also with NaranjitO plus CatZ as 2 versus 2, Erling as a terran monster, Arcneon as Protoss, and KaaZ as zerg, we started to get a really good foreigner team also.
When Team Extreme died alot around the European scene changed. How did the members react to the FanatiC sponsorship?
Hehe, I think 70% was happy, later less players where happy because the sponsorship deal wasn’t that great as we thought it would be (obvious)! But it had nothing to do with us dieing since I always leaded Infernal Gamers alone or FanatiC. And BettleJuice as good news writer, clan war maker, but we both got less time. Is kind of the key of FanatiC to stop and I don’t think its dieing, we just decided to stop.

Hehe, I don’t think my friend Basile (Bundy) will find a new home soon, same as Venom, he is really disappointed we had great times. Jussi (KaaZ) already quit Brood War also Jurrian (Jurri) and Gwolla which was really motivated me more to quit also. But to the question I think many are disappointed. But it’s not a shock I told them about 3 weeks ago I was going to make this decision soon. Only thing I didn’t like was Delirium who wrote a lot of crap about me when I told him this in trust.
So you are leaving on the account of having less time, correct? Why do you have less time now a days?
Well I just finished my study but I decided to do a higher study now in a totally different direction, so I'm studying a lot now but that is just a smart part. I also could not motivate myself to come much online anymore. Sometimes I went Op ToT) and like 1 or 2 people online. Also the good players who still play Europe are not even active in there to play 1 on 1 games. Most play West and new talent is hard to find these days. Also the fact that most of my real friends quit Brood War. And managing a team cost me about 5 hours a day, didn’t even play a single game ;p. Anyway I never regret leading this team it was a lot of fun and I think almost every good player been in Infernal Gamers also, Smuft and Kiwi for example.
Infernal Games has been home to many, including me, at some point in time. Very respectable team, very mannered, and very skilled. Sad to see it go really. But is there anything you would like to say or add?
Yea, I had nice times with most of my members 1st of all thanks for Fever he was the best admin I had and he also made the Infernal Gamers site in the past. Also thanks to KimWanChul, DarkElf, Bundy, Jussi (KaaZ), Probe, Saying, V-Gundam, CatZ, of course NaranjitO, “fat” Mattie (Arcneon), Gwolla and Jurri. Guys who helped me a lot in the years not only with building up the team but also with real life. Infernal Gamers existed for over 3 years then it changed in FanatiC for his last days where BettleJuice did really much for the team like all his fantastic news. So thanks to all these guys. And maybe after my holidays ill find time to come online, and maybe I will even start a new team up someday or I maybe will start playing some myself again, we will see. Anyways, I wish all u guys fun days in StarCraft and ill see u around.
