More offline tournaments! RandomNE and the internet café Playz is hosting an offline tournament in Stockholm with estimated prize money up to 7,000 SEK!
Playz and RandomNE has informed GosuGamers that they plan on hosting a WarCraft 3 tournament the 12th of August. They aim for a prize pool of around 7,000 SEK but it depends on the number of participants.
- We will have an entrance fee for about 300 SEK, but it's not fully decided yet, RandomNE tells GosuGamers. For those who believe that they have a chance of winning, 300 SEK for the possibility of winning 5,000 SEK in first prize might feel worth it.
The tournament will be Double Elimination, and they will seed every player. Maps will be Twisted Meadows, Terenas Stand, Lost Temple, Turtle Rock, Gnoll Wood, Echo Isles and Maelstrom. The players will thumb down maps they don't want to play, and this is where the seeding comes in. The highest seeded player starts thumbing down.
Playz is a Swedish Internet café in Stockholm placed on Ringvägen 125. To register for the tournament send an email to » RandomNE. GosuGamers will most likely be present at the tournament with a representant, and will try and snap a couple of photos for those who can't make it there.
