GosuGamers have been invited to the Blizzard Sandlot tournament, and we need your help! United we stand, together we will conquer!
This is most likely the biggest community-based tournament ever hosted in the StarCraft community. Now is the time to crown the best community, now is the time for for all the fanbases in the different StarCraft portals to show their muscles.
- Gamers across the globe will be able to get directly involved with the Sandlot Tournament, and this gives the world's best players a chance to battle it out for some serious cash, Blizzard write at their Sandlot section.
Minerals will be handed out -> captains will buy players
A total of eight StarCraft communities will be invited, which each will have a team captain who will build up a team from a gamer pool. Minerals will be handed out to each community, which they will "buy" players with. The prize for each player will be determined by the whole StarCraft community, once the players have been announced and confirmed. So far, only two communities have been made official -
GosuGamers and the German site

GosuGamers has been invited to the event, and we will have the ambition to win it. In order for us to succeed we need you to help. We need a logo, and a name on our team. The community with the best logo and name will receive some sort of bonus. Say like the team with the niftiest name gets to pick first in the player pool, or the one with the best logo gets a mineral boost.
We want the community to be a part of this, so we ask you - later on - to send in a logo for the GosuGamers team, and perhaps a suiting name for our upcoming put-together team. Once further details come up regarding the name and logos, we want you to help and we will post additional news items with details on how you can contribute.
