Soju wins inCup Spring #4

[s]event_49[/s]

When the World Elite member Soju did his first inCup appearance he ended up winning it. In the three last matches, he took down three top Korean players - Farseer, WinNers and ReiGn.

Fourth edition of the inCup Spring tournament. Last week was won by Lof_Lyn, which makes his second in a row. As the first one was won by 4K^FoV, the winners of the inCup tournaments so far has only been Korean. Tonight though, lots of top players from all over the world took part, among them Grubby, Deadman, Creolophus, Zeus and XyLigan. But also top notch Koreans attended, among them Soju, ReiGn, WinNers and Farseer. In the end, it stood between two Koreans, just as many times before.

A surprise was that Netherlands 4K^Grubby got eliminated in the first round. Apparently, it was not just a regular loss.
-I've got no motivation to play incup at all with waiting for hosts 2 hours, keep having to regame, playing russians on russian hosts, Grubby says in the comments at SK-Gaming.com. He says that he ended up playing with 150 ping, and that he asked himself why he even bothered to show up at all.

Another big surprise was the Finnish player Finland Epilogue, playing under Melodica made it as far as the Quarter Finals, after defeating players as DIDI8 and 4K^FuRy. However the new Korean LanFan player WinNers took down the Finlander, perhaps strengtened by the Eurovision Song Contest win with Lordi?

Soju.jpgSo who won, in the end? It was none other than the Night Elf player Korea WE.IGE.Soju (picture), who partook in the inCup tournament for the first time. In the Grand Final he defeated the Undead player ReiGn with 3-1. On his way he also took down Korean powehouses as Farseer, WinNers and ReiGn. An interesting note is that the otherwise Night Elf playing Soju also played a couple of games as Orc. 200 Euros to Soju, and a spot in the Season finals. Still only Koreans have won the inCup Spring tournaments so far!
