SCCL: PD1 look-back and PD2 bettings

The second playday of the ESL Clan League starts tomorrow. SCCL will give us a feast of interesting and very tight matches tomorrow. But first, let's do a short reminder on what happened in playday one, as there were some surprising results.

The first playday in ESL Clan League was shoutcasted and had many eager StarCraft fans' eyes on it. Uniting 12 top clans in the StarCraft community in a professional league with an actual prize (hopefully) inspiring the participating players and clans is a wonderful event. And, as always with big events comes big matches. First off we had high numbers of heavy-weight matches. How about reborn Templars of Twilight versus newborn Trademark Gamers, which was the match of the day? Even though the match turned in to a cat-and-mouse game for Templars of Twilight (5-0), it was a very interesting match.

Infernal Gamers' surprise win against mYm.sc

Another interesting match was the one between Infernal Gamers and MeetYourMakers.sc. Many had thought that the new sponsored team MeetYourMakers - with many great players added, to mention one the Polish legend Blackman - would take it home. Especially by looking at the GosuBet stats, where a total of 64% thought mYm would win over the Infernal Gamers. However thanks to great play by the Nordic duo KaaZ and Arcneon, Infernal Gamers could win with 4-1.

oGaming vs. DkH will be interesting

The second playday starts tomorrow, and according to the ESL site all matches will be played then as well. First out at 15:00 is oGaming versus Deutchlands Kranke Horde, more known as DkH.Keyweb. Last round oGaming won a close match against Play.it, and DkH.Keyweb barely lost to x6.AMD. This match should be pretty close, if not the new Korean add-ons to oGaming performs their best.

Will ToT) take down iG. as they took down [TmG]?

Secondly, we have the Infernal Gamers, coming out in the first playday as victorious after a surprise win (4-1) against MeetYourMakers. Now, they are up against another favourite to win the SCCL - the famous and merited Templars of Twilight, who annihilated Trademark Gamers with 5-0. It will be interesting to see what Infernal Gamers can do against Templars of Twilight. Of what I know, there have not been many clanwars between the two clans, and there seems to be some sort of rivalry in between.
