nD Birthday Tournament

Team Northern Darkness or more known as nD is having its first Birthday soon and they planned to celebrate it with a tournament. With the possibility of getting a StarCraft Terran Firebat figure as a prize and also the top 3 will get invites to the next Overall Tournament where there is a chance to win €100.

The tournament took place on Friday where 96 players signed up and played for that top prize. Players like Sweden

eSa.Fisheye took place in the tournament.

The first round almost bugged the tournament and looked like a bad ending for a good event with good intentions. But as things pressed on the tournament got a lot better. Tournament organizer Austria

nD.xEa reports that many good players showed up and played but also some good players decided not to play or just drop out after some time. The tournament did start a little late, but that did not stop anyone from finishing it.

After some time the tournament only had 2 players left. Germany

rS.DaZe had to battle it out in a best of 3 format to see who would take on the Firebat prize. After

rS.DaZe beat

DkH.GoOdy in a 2-0 shutout he would be crowned winner.

Some of the replays have been made available. It was up to the winner's of the matches to upload the correct games when reporting. So replays may be limited but don't have any doubt about the overall goodness of the replays. There is bound to be a handful of great replays in there somewhere.

After this tournament and one more last tour a bigger tournament will be hosted called the Overall Tournament. In this tournament players are able to win €100. So far there are 14 players in the tournament. Team nD will host one more tour to place other players into the tournament. So check that tour out when it happens and try to qualify for the final Overall Tournament.
