Some of you may remember that last year there was a match between the nation of South Korea and the nation of China. This year the event will be more complex than last years regular nation war.
The competition will have 4 different groups with 4 gamers in each set of groups. 8 players are going to be from South Korea, while the other 8 will be from China. Unlike last year, this will be a full 1 versus 1 league, which will be a little bit more interesting.
The event should have started today, but instead will start tomorrow August 20th. From than on the event will be a three day event. Some players that will be featured at the competition will be wNv.Pj, SlayerS_`BoxeR`, [ReD]NaDa, SCI)_Dp_R, and Iloveoov. But, that is just a few.
The 16 players have all been chosen and put into their groups for the event. The group stage should be interesting. 2 Chinese and 2 South Koreans are placed into each group, making things a little more even.

The event will also play host to games like Half-life, Counter-Strike, and WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne. In most huge progaming events there is a sponsor, this event is not different. CKCG 2005 is sponsored by Hyundai, SKTelecom, Pantech & Curitel.
Unlike last year when the event was broadcasted by Chinese television, this year MBC will broadcast the event. With MBC broadcasting the event, replays may become unavailable.
Keep in mind the event is not being covered very well as it is being hosted in China. Some of this information could change at anytime.
