On the eve of the State Wars Finals, XG3 of SCLegacy has posted the list of players in the round robin event. This mega-tournament has the participation reach such as no other tournament held in the USA has had before, with the exception perhaps of their own WCG preliminaries.
The players have been separated into 8 groups, divided by region, where they will face off against each other with players in their own group. Already there are comments that some of the groups are loaded with most of the good players and a lot of them will be out of the State Wars early. So far there are 49 players representing 49 different states, but this is still subject to change. As they face off today I am sure that many good games will come from the Americans.

After the USA State Wars there are plans to host a Canadian State Wars where you will have the 10 provinces and possibly the 3 territories face off against each other. For now it has been scheduled to begin December 12th, 2004. Of course this will be hosted right after the Blizzard Mystery-Map Invitational is over.
