4-1-0 or 0-1-4 Strategy Replays (2262 reads, 12 replies, 3 months ago)
Hi guys!
I've just read this guide making me confused more and more about DotA strategy.Well,I hope you guys could help me out. Let's see!!

http://www.playdota.com/guides/drafting-in-cm-for-intermediate

I've watched some replays in which the whole team(5 men) start pushing straight at mid or other lanes! And then, they clash/fight out and destroy the rax in 30 minutes. Replays: Bulgarian Team(Not sure about country) did against AEON.sg in 2010 ESWC and Old EHOME vs Nirvana.girl. This strategy is 5-0-0.

What makes me confused is Clashoriented Straight push (0-1-4) or (4-1-0) line-up meaning 4 men would start pushing at top/bot and 1 man will stay/farm in mid for mekansm in 10 mins. Once they guy mid farm up and finish mekansm, the whole them will continuously push straight whatever the fuck lane is left to push. NOTE: Not 5 men pushing together at the beginning. I really like to try this strategy considering this strategy would surprise/take down our opponent easily. But I've never seen/heard any replays of this strategy. So, I couldn't even learn any shit and I'm still a little bit confused how to plan to try this strategy.
What I'm looking foward : If you have any replays of this strategy, please do share a link below here. Thanks.
ps: I'm serious
btw! Dear Gosucrews please move my thread to DotA | Strategy section.

this is very risky indeed. unless you take down those towers real fast you will gain nothing from it, you'd be outleveled, somehow ahead of farm due to tower pushes however that advantage will be nullified as time passes by so you gotta take down those towers immediately.

might be hard to take on the tier 3 tower given the current level/items. perhaps int heroes with pushing capabilities would fit here like krob/shadow shaman/ leshrac due to their pushing capabilities with their skills. Unlike those of furion/chen/enchantress in which their units can be taken down by aoe nukes like pugna's blast etc.

I did remember replays of Chinese playing 0-1-4 which they leave the opponent sniper or hero with weak pushing power soloing. You could search it up.
