I sometimes go for this lineup: Lycan WD Venom Lich Dazzel. You will get 2 healers, 2 buffarmors, 2 summoners and good combat skills as well.
If u meet a normal strat, leave lycan in jungle with WD, Lich on hard lane, Dazzel on mid and Venom on the lane near ur jungle.
If u meet a pushing strat like roshan lvl 1 then all mid, lycan's wolves will be useful as scouts and Lich WD Dazzel Venom can counter their push nicely because they all are spammers with annoying skills.

have a hero that combos well with AA (es is easiest)

i dont see a problem, their pushing lineup isnt even that strong. if they go 5 man, you need to get farm/lvls in the other two lanes.

Easy does it, farm on the other two lanes while two of your spammers kill all the creep waves in mid. Make sure to bring clarities too.
