as we had new icons for sc2 as well, why not having new for dota2? whts ur opinion ,also dota2 section seems pretty underdeveloped . i guess u should pay more attention to it. Your thoughts?

yes i meant race icons and #1 why did sc2 hv different racde icons then isnt it splitting the community there as well? dota2 should hv a different race icon

If you're terran/protoss/zerg, you're still part of the SC2 community- you still play the same game

If you're DotA/DOTA2, you're not part of the same community - Games are similar... but diff mechanics, graphics, bla bla bla

Okay, probably I actually forgot to press the submit button.
Here goes my view, I don't think it is a good idea at the present time having a separate race icon for Dota 2. The first reason would be I would surely don't want to divide the community, and secondly having a race icon for a game which is still in its beta version doesn't seem to be a viable thing to do.
Probably yes, later on we are gonna have Dota 2 race icons.
You'll miss me when I'm gone.

Do you guys know that SC2 looks different from SC, but the Dota icon is not even a race? I don't even know why there is a Dota icon.

i think the bigger question is whether you really want to spilt the tow games up with each of it having his own strategy media general and tournament forum or you just seperate the tournaments and keep the other stuff as once ...

basically its the same game, but you cant know yet whether the community will split or make the move as once, and until that point is reached i dont support the idea of a DotA2 race icon

Just get the small dota 2 logo and stretch it out? Dno how it would look, or dont strech it out and add black(red?) bars....
