DotA has kinda become a rotating game.
Teams tend to rotate their strat and play in regular intervals.
But don't take Dragon Knight as a wholly surprise pick, as it has been picked quiet often nowadays. Its duration of stun does come in very handy. And a little bit of tank item makes it very hard to kill.
Overall its a good hero to play.
You'll miss me when I'm gone.

DK, from what I've heard is a lethal carry at the moment after the buff.

BUT, he can always still be countered, but whatever the Chinese use, it must be good.

Still Chinese DK build is different from PH DK. The Chinese focus on playing DK as hardcore tank with Pipe as core whereas PH DK core is more of DPS build.

A lot of people, especially pinoys, think Chinese pick up DK or even Slardar from the way they play bottle-crow. The truth is they are not.

Someone from above mentioned Chinese don't play as awesome as the pinoys do. The truth is they are right. Because, in Chinese's hands, they HAVE to play DK/Slardar that way to sync up their team-tempo. Nothing else, just that. You don't play an awesome DK to sync up Chinese's team tempo. You play a hard carry which yet still can afford a pipe, a team-orientated item, thus save your other teammates, usually No.3 spot, from getting it. Getting another team-orientated item instead. You can argue chinese replays still last long at times, but if you look at the fact, it's Chinese VS Chinese. For most of the watchers out there, they're expecting Chinese beating any team outside China at any given day, fast and easy. Any team is able to put up a fight normally earns a standing ovation globally.

That's the magic word why DK is hot currently. Improving Team Tempo.

Why DK? I know, for his tanking ability, a good ganking and pushing ability.

But maybe there's some other reasons why DK got picked lately...



. its the tankin, gankin, pushin, abilities all in one hero. you cant find many heroes having that 3.plus superb farming and lane control of (course with bottle-crow)but since dk needs bc to farm up and control lane(spamming firebreath which the chinese hate) and chinese didnt use bc, they didnt bother to pick dk. its not his stun or because hes great in the current version. dk was already great before 6.73. yeah his stun improved but pinoys been using dk on previous maps and was proven to be effective.
