Hello everyone,

I'm an old school gamer and I'm curently tired to always play the same games (SC:BW, StarCraft2, WarCraft3, CounterStrike, etc,..). So here is my question: What is your top 5 of free PC games and why? I would like to install a couple of games to change my mind and try new kind of game for free. Please don't post games like miniclip or things like that. I would like something with a minimum of competition, and a multiplayer mode would be great too!

I heard a bit about LoL, Hon and Team fortress 2.. are they good games ?

How can I play Dota 2 ? I saw that there is many leagues, but I can't find how/where to download it. I read that it is still in beta, is it true or not ?

Does anyone has a link for download ?

You need a beta key or invite. Then it's pretty simple, you just download it on steam

Since when is Skyrim Crysis2 or even Starcraft2 free?
Why would you suggest illegal stuff?

My list is:
1. TF2 (kinda like Quake with classes and preset weapons)
2. DF (no comment)
3. Nitronic Rush (Driving / survival game with a futuristic car)
4. Realm of the Mad God (RPG bullet hell with perma death)
5. Soldat (side view shooter)

O, LoL / HoN are team games like volleyball or basketball. Having a stable team instead of random people is advised.

Thank you everybody. Like #10 said, I forgot to say that I don't want illegal games..

Some people listed wc3, sc2, cod.. Did you read the topic before posting ? I don't want your top 5 pc games. My goal is to have a list of free games on PC that I can download and enjoy it.

Otherwise, apart from LoL, HoN, there aren't many awesome F2P games out there which aren't illegal.

Unless you want to go to Maplestory (Nexon games) etc.
