Pro plays with pubs =))

To improve your personal skills, play with AI map and watch replay until you find yourself comfortable with watching every fight on a replay (by that I mean you never miss a fight) then you're good at map awareness. Watch PIS video to see how he micro (Blink to avoid Lina's ultimate with SK)

Hard carries practice a solo game and last hit all the possible creeps.
Kill Bill... Gates, that is.

They have CONTACT with other DotA team so when they are free they call up each other for gaming.
*Mostly they will play PUBLIC game also & playing CLAN WAR at PLATFORM that perhaps just around your NEIGHBOURHOOD.

Probably, yes. Since instinct and decision making can only be practiced during clanwars.

They practice by developing a strategy - a set of predefined goals, actions and communication procedures in ensuring that a particular combination which is developed by the opposition is appropriately countered, to ensure their ambitions are achieved positively and executed to a degree of perfection. In order to do so, many prerequisites are needed.

1. A skilled team who understand the advanced concepts of DotA.
2. An effective leader who communicates, and shows by example to their team.

To practice, professionals re-enact situations, team fights and initiation protocols which are crucial in winning major tactical advantages within real-life activities. This means that a simulation or "what-if" scenario can then be developed, and an alternate strategy can be again worked on, in order to maintain the advantage over the opposition.

As a result, the question has been answered - how do the professionals practice? They strategise, execute and hone their skills to absolute perfection, whether it be practising last-hitting on creeps, initiation by gankers, playing against AI to test out new line-ups against certain strategies opponents may employ in order to achieve the same goals.

Practice with your best heroes that you're gonna use when you play competitively. That way, you'll have a complete feel of that hero.
