If Thrall can be picked in cm mode..am/tb and other heroes can do a shit w/o bkb.
So where is that imba tb and am with blink?
am cant even blink from silence and if am blink thrall will just b him at old place,so blink is on cd and he is dead...
So when this few heroes b in cm mode,probably most items you can see are force staff,blade mail,bkb,orchid,hex...
Tb against thrall can do nothing,cant even change hp or make illu w/o bkb and same on line against lich who will eat creeps and thrall who will spam first magic on tb with lich,and you know tb has low hp in early game so what tb can do?

same goes for TA, if icefrog buffs her she will became a trend cause of these semicarries trends (like nw or lycan, you know, meld+medallion will hurt so much lycan even if he gets bkb), also she is somewhat tanky with refraction so she can towerdive.

I wonder why no one picks ursa. His main weakness was inability to deliver his huge damage. Now the meta has shifted with the introduction of Jango, force staffs and cheap mass slows. I think he deserves some attention.

I dont think ursa is ever good. He has burst, yes but his laning leaves quite a bit to be desired, and he cant jungle. His dps is also quite limited to the first 20 minutes or so, and he just feels like a worse lycan or panda. He cant even get bkb comfortably since then he cant buff himself with overpower. He's also melee and not FV so his late game potential leaves quite a bit to be desired. Items like forcestaff also allow people to run away from him.

#85 You are still stuck in the era of hard carries - When one hero goes in and kills everyone. Team clashes now are much more speed-based and burst dependant. Bite and get away, fast-heal yourselfves and another fast fight when cooldowns are finished.

nope what I'm saying that he has burst but his burst doesnt scale at all well, and at earlier levels is worse than a lycan or a panda. Your definition of a "speed based" meta then supports my argument better, since lycan and panda arguably have better physical burst early on and are faster (522ms anyone?), which kinda makes ursa extremely irrelevant at early stages of the game compared to other similar heroes.

He also lacks any real form of mobility barring phaseboots or blink dagger, but those are additional constraints on his damagedealing/farming potential.

At later stages of the game, being a melee hero and not having babbyskills like chronosphere, Ursa, a hero without a innate blink(unlike AM or FV) and does not synergise well with BKB, becomes more irrelevant - as do Panda and Lycan.

Force staff and ghost sceptor also leave ursa feeling useless at later stages of the game

I'm assuming you also agree that his laning is torrid at best and his jungling leaves quite a bit to be desired? Then you should agree that he's a subpar hero at best, a hero-killer without real pushing potential, laning capabilities, or carrying power. And even in the area that he's good at - killing heroes, other heroes just outshine him. The aforementioned lycan and panda, or even other melee heroes like rikimaru, gondar, chaosknight, rogueknight , the list goes on.

I suppose you could talk about how his cooldowns are short, and of course that's a large boon for him, but I think overall he's just a hero that has no place in the current metagame.

Well you see - after I saw your arguments about Ursa I realized that you don't understand s@#t about current dota trends nor you know anything about Ursa's strength. So why bother explaining?

i laugh so hard at this XD how can any1 be so brainless ? xddd those poor singapore guys .. Let me say u something - ursa is THE BEST jungling hero
, he can rape ancients starting on lvl 5 with no items , he CAN buff himself in bkb , he can rape lycan like np any time he wants, he also got clap that can be used too .. 1 vs 1 only problem for him vs any hero is evasion so mkb and in 2 seconds by by enemy carry .. u talking about advantages of other carries like mobility 522 blablabla.. well guess what ? suitable support like cm or vengeful that swaps enemy carry wright into the ursa's claws and thats it ..u know, ursa got team to solve all this tactical problems , his job is DAMAGE DEAL and he is the best with this one .. its just sad that theres people plain dota so stupid to not understand these things /

and speaking about upcoming trending heroes .. i think it must be some of greatly underrated superb potential monsters like Mortred - she is so powerfull .. she can jungle easily ( yes yes , she can) , she got BLINK ( it looks like lots of players just done realize it) , she is the only dota hero capable of 1-hit kill , she is invisible in a battle after all .. wright item build = totall pwnage and dont say u can use ghost scepter to nullify her might .. with her mobility she really dont care

and second one fully underrated hero - crobelus : silence with great aoe , very very low cd nuke , one of the strongest ultimates in game ! Can some1 explain why the hell only few teams use her>??

Krobelus is unused more due to the fact that her attack animation is quite horrid and she is squishy without item

About the ursa thing :- ursa has nearly no laning power. true lycan also have the same cons but lycan can jungle from lvl 1. fact.
They give you the altqq shortcut for you to use it.so do ..
