Smoother Models and no Maphacks or any other form of cheat. Practically one of the main reasons that the quality of the players go down.
It takes 5 to win and 5 to lose

Whatever he changes, I wish that mechanics remain the same. "Orbwalk" is one of example.

mechanics should definitely stay the way they are now. Ok, maybe a little more consitency in how things like bkb linken etc work. What I'd love would be...user friendliness :) like easy hotkey assigning, easier item buying (like in hon, buy a recipe with 1 klick not gather all the single pieces), reconnecting to games, online stats (most importantly LEAVER tracking!), good enough hosting possibilities so you don't have to use 3rd party progs to get decent pings.
And honestly, I'd like better graphics, although you have to be careful not to make it too messy and flashy, so you still get whats going on, and can tell the different heroes apart (yes I'm looking at you HoN!). But to give credit where its due....things like chronosphere just look sexy in HoN. Want that in real dota too.
Other than that I'm pretty happy with DotA as it is, its just all these annoying little things that could be so much easier in a standalone :)
