Why Ursa is Imba? (15609 reads, 40 replies, 2 years ago)
I mean, Ursa can kill roshan at level 6 with just power tread and vanguard, which makes ursa the only hero that can soloing kill roshan at level 6, this will gives an increment of 2 levels and few hundred of gold after he kills it, isn't this inbalance?

Wards and common sense and yet it happens in just about every high-level game involving an Ursa.

I've thought for quite a while that this hero's definitely in need of a nerf. Maybe not a severe one, but definitely some sort of nerf. In my opinion, he's a clear case of too much in one package. He's got an AoE slow to keep the target around to do his big damage or to escape, and he's got an ability that massively buffs his AS to allow him to properly do his burst of massive damage. He basically is an epic carry that is largely not dependent on items.

He's not my favorite target of the nerf bat, but he's up there.

#4 ursa is not a carry,he shines midgame.and if you're looking for a way to counter ursa,not just his ability to rosh fast,get disables/ghost scepter etc...he's not that hard to counter rly.

Appa is not imba, that hero is too "paper", very low hp..... I can easily kill it in early and mid game

You'd be better of with Vlads to solo rosh.

In addition, Ursa is no 'epic carry' and he definetly is item-dependent, as he needs HP to deal serious damage.

Ursa is no doubt a very good hero at 1v1 combat.
I think the thing that makes him imba is the fear factor the opponents have when they face him,sometimes pushing them towards big mistakes.

Not really imba. Fury Swipes is just retarded proof. No matter how noobish you are, how bad your item build is, as long as you hit your enemy a few times... it will hurt.

Excellent skill synergy. Fury swipes requires multiple hits for it to really work it's magic and that's where Overpower comes in. Ulti gives even more damage. Earthshock slows/damages in AOE, slow lets you pound your enemy even more.

True he can go rosh at low levels. But not having Vlads will make it a little difficult. Not having dagger to blink into rosh will just cause the enemy to be there in seconds since most 'organized' teams will ward rosh at all times when there is an enemy ursa.

There are plenty of heroes that can solo rosh at low levels. Lycan is a good example. Can solo rosh at level 5, even better at 7.

hahaha lvl 6 pt+ vanguard lol.. though its easy to kill roshan with him with vladi or such.. so easy to counter him though.. just get disables or blademail,gs and so on
