I don't like Maelk either, for other reasons, more intellectual ones, but anybody saying "kick maelk so mym can be stronger" are just :

Over the years, he has been a pretty efficient team captain. He is objectively among the top10 captains in the world (I'm not sure if I would rank him among the Top5, like noobs do, knowing what I know about some Asians captains ...), and in Dota, Captain's Picks are the second most important parameter for a team success.
THEN, you would have to consider that there is just NO OTHER FREE CAPTAIN, today, who could join mym to replace him and be of the same caliber, knowledge and experience, that is AVAILABLE today on the Dota market. All others are taken, or of lower quality than him. Understand this, you chimpz.
Then, he has also always been a reliable carry. Maybe not the best, maybe he's not as versatile as some others and can't play every dota heroes at the same level. But the fact remains that, on the planet Earth, 3rd planet from the Sun in the solar system, he is among the top100 Dota players who walks this planet. So, again, don't talk about what you don't know, chimpz.
Let MYM settle their own business. They don't need your random, pre-pubert, opinions. Especially for some "kick the team captain" kind of bullshit.
Their problem today (and this one is real, contrary to this previous bullshit) is rather the "average" skill level of their core members, compared to today's dota world, where everything evolve so fast. The world scene have opened to a whole new reservoir of skill called Asia, that wasn't factored in before, back in the days where mym was a top-tier team, and there will be NO GOING BACK to the previous status quo on this matter, now that it has been unleshead.
And if we add to that, the fact that the best of the best players in the western world have all formed into a single formation called Nirvana.int, which even itself needs to still prove itself in LAN against the cream of asia, I don't think there is a place anymore in the top-tier teams for MYM anymore. Or jokes like "DDT", for that matter ...
Especially now that it has become common knowledge among every major teams, that they (Mym) can only play a very restricted range of heroes efficiently (otherwise they get trashed ultra quickly against top teams), rendering them very easy to shut down, straight on from the picking phase.
This is their biggest challenge today, and the weakness they have to correct by working VERY HARD and training their skills 24/7. And quite frankly I doubt they are gonna manage it, in a world where you got so much freaking monsters out there, playing and carrying some other teams at a totaly different level of play, and with a broader range of heroes, making the job easier for their captains picking strategy.
Seriously, I don't see them coming back from this huge skill gap that has manifested itself, today ...
But I would like the futur to prove me wrong ... =)
