So today I am going to watch American football for the first time in my life. It is the first time it is shown on a mainstream TV station in my country and I thought it would be a fun thing to do. It is one of the biggest events that is happening in the world, so it is almost a must to do at least 1 time

I have never ever seen a American football match before, but I hope it will kick ass. So today around midnight I am going to watch it. But the big question is: American football, worth it or desert it?
I should realy do something diffrent with my life

American Football as whole is usually quite enjoyable, but if your looking for the most action packed game of the year it most definitely wont be the Superbowl. Teams play to cautiously because they dont want to do anything that might hurt their chance of winning the Superbowl. It is a match up between two of the best teams this year (vikings>saints) . Imo the most enjoyable American Football games to watch are the ones on the collage level. But if you've never watched American Football the Superbowl is a pretty good start i guess, because it probably wont be a massive blow out

personally i think american football is the 2nd best sport in the world AFTER ice hockey. this is my 6th superbowl in a row im going to watch, looking forward to it :)

Wow... it's the first game of american football ever for me...
I really like it so far... it's pretty cool, I like it alot and I'm really happy that the german commentators decided to tell a bit about the rules because otherwise I wouldn't be able to know what the hell is going on

I'll watch it until the end, even though it's nearly an hour after midnight in Germany!

Oh btw. GO SAINTS! :P

6 your calling me an idtiot... are you fuckng retarded? the answer is yes, its halftime now and so far the game has been extremely broing, the cults completly raped the saints in the first quarter and during the secound quarter the saints made so many mistakes its almost funny. The only thing that has made this match someone enjoyable has been the commercials. This has been the most boring superbowl since the Giants vs the Patriots 2 years ago

Football is an acquired taste for non-Americans. It's hard to feel that way if you're already following another sport, though, like Europeans do for European football. It's very physical, but it also has a lot of strategy in it, so if you get used to it and are able to distinguish the subtleties, it might be worth it for you.

The Superbowl is a big thing - kinda like the Champions League Final - and everybody makes a celebration of it over here -and of course you can't have a nationwide event without it being also extremely marketable, which turns some people off. But for the Superbowl, companies have turned commercials into a kind of art, with the best commercials of the year being designed especially for and aired during the break, which 'll be right after the half-time show. I don't much care for The Who, and was about to surf the net some when I saw this post, and thought I might give you a heads-up.

its funny cus he also thinks he knows so much about it the only exciting thing that happend this game was the interception by the saints in the 4th quarter

extremley boring football game superbowls are usually overhpyed last year with the Steelers was exciting, this was boring, saints vs vikings exciting this boring
