2nd Monitor on Lap - no fullscreen on BW (139 reads, 4 replies)
so, I can finally play again with not too shitty keyboard, so I plugged keyboard, mouse and monitor on my laptop and wanted to play finally again, after more than 1month without playing.
But here comes the problem, as soon as I start SC it is only in top-left corner and the screen is pretty much unused. I already tried several stuff but nothing helped:(

Here is a screenshot of the startscreen (somewhat the colours fucked up, all over, but I marked the part where BW is with a white border):

The option I get when I check for the monitor stuff (what to show on which monitor) it says:
1: (Multiple Monitors) with Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express chipset family

I use 1024x768 with 32Bit color.

can you give us a bit more information, lml? What graphics are you using - are your monitors both on the same resolution - etc.

I think I can guess your problem, though - the fact that your SC is not taking up the whole screen gives me the impression that your second monitor is refusing to change resolution, so tell me what graphics u use and i'll look into it.
It seems your BW is stuck in 1024x768x32, when it should be stuck in 640x480x16, i believe.

Is the monitor that runs BW the primary monitor?

great idea-.-
set whole windows just to play bw >_<' There must be a way to fix this on another way? :/
edit: also the lowest rate I can set it to is 800*600 and this way BW still doesn't fill the whole monitor:/
