I posted this on another BW-site and got a lot of feedback. I hope its OK that I repost this here. I visit this site quite often and I read through the "Metalheads" thread as well. Since many people here like Metal, I think this could work ;)

Hey,
First of all I want to say that I am not the kind of guy who creats new topics every day and ask for "stupid" things.

BUT, I am now seeing a big chance for my band to do a big big step in our "career".

On December 20th the big f***ing, genies, no other than Morbid Angel will play a gig in Essen (Germany) and people can vote one Band to support them as the Opener.

For all Metalheads this is a chance to listen to some new Bands when you click through the Bands you can vote for.

Of course I would love to see some of you vote for my Band "Demise Empire" to make a dream come true.

BUT: I dont ask for blind votes from everyone here. What I would really appreciate is YOU listening to my Band on

like the way you approach this thing and I'm gonna listen to the band right away :)
btw Morbid Angel are gods ! ^________^

EDIT after listening to myspace songs for a short while:

you know what dude I actually went there listened to some things and then listened to the bands that are ahead of you in the poll . just a song or two (some of them I couldn't stand to get through the entire song even) and I must say that I voted with a clear heart for your band. you are actually better than those guys and congratz for that :)

hmm sounds like you are a good band just unfortunately your recordings seem a bit low end. Your drummer sounds like a monster :) keep it up im in a metal band also and i know how hard it is O_O

You are right, the recording was organized by ourselves and it sounds like this, doesnt it ;)

But at least we didnt have to pay a lot for it so its ok I think^^
