Yeah Ara had his Bronze officially removed, bad behaviour, breaking the Olympic spirit.

Why i think the judges are corrupt; The judge on the floor was pointing out faults for the Swede all the time, according to the swedish commentators. Though that could be the commentators.

There was another Swedish wrestler who sent in a suggestion to FILA, wich said something like;"Pick the judge 5 mins before the game, to prevent bad judges". It was rejected.

Not only that it was rejected is wierd, but also that the suggestion was made. That points to there is some problems with the judges.

What he should've done was hold onto the medal and lodge a formal complaint immediately afterwards. If the corruption is a big enough scandal, they'll probably give the wrestler the medal he deserves. The thing is, they're probably NOT going to redo the match, meaning a replay of the match would be the basis for scoring.

He did put in a formal complaint straight after the match, but the international wrestler association (who's leader just happen to be the judge in questions cousin who lives in the itlalian-speaking part of Swizerland...) didn't even look at it before declining it. So there you go, that helped much. :P

Ara Abrahamian got right in the end. Although he never got the medal back but he never really took it. The Swedish wrestler left a complaint to FILA that they didnt even want to take under consideration. So Ara Abrahamian took this matter further to the international judge CAS. So Cas made a investigation(which no FILA member showed up to or helped in. But CAS gave Ara right against he's complaint against FILA. So therefor Ara forced an rulechange.
But the wierd thing is that the judges in the match fist gave Ara's opponet a point for Ara's supposdely "fleeing the carpet" move, and then changed and disqualifed Ara Abrahemin. . No wonder he get pissed with that kind of judge. Is there any more obvious how corrupted FILA really is? I don't think so..

Anyone who has all the facts right here, would agree 100% with the protest. Its not just about that wrong call. Its about the entire FILA organization (clearly corrupt), how they acted during the matches and how they handled the it afterwards.

This sport ( among others ) should not be a part of the Olympics, or any other competition that is supposed to be a fair championship.

all of you people saying he was bad mannered need to go listen to more coheed and cambria, and fallout boy. hes an amazing wrestler, who earned the gold. the referee literally f***'d him.

unless your a nancy boy, if u put hours and hours into your extreme talent, and u go for gold and get it stolen, im surpsied he didnt piss on the medal. i woudlve taken a shit on it, shot the wrestler who "Beat me", killed the referee and his family, and then pissed on their corpses.

havent read the whole thread but I'll explain some misses:

Why he get upset is cuz when he crawls on the floor the judge, judges him to be outside of the ring while the italian guy is above him trying to pull him over.
The swedish guy got his hand outside the ring which isnt wrong at all.

You can have a whole arm outside the ring and still it counts as you are inside the ring... BUT..this is when the judge says he is outside the ring. The judgement was incorrect, and ofc the swedish guy got upset then. He would have won otherwise. He had the lead and now he got disqualified.
